 The Lionville Youth Association (LYA) is proud to announce that the Lionville Lightning 12U (2017-18) and Lionville Lightning 14U Black Travel Softball Teams, in partnership with GIANT Food Stores and the Chester County Food Bank, have teamed up again to help those in need this Holiday Season with their annual Strike Out Hunger food drive.
We are asking for your help and it is simple. On Saturday, November 18th (11am), the Lionville Lightning 12U & 14U Black teams will be collecting non-perishable food items at the LYA Pavilion (34 Devon Drive, Exton, PA 19341). From there, the teams, will bring all food collected to the CCFB just in time for the holidays. Ideas for donations include any canned goods such as soups, vegetables and fruits; healthy cereals and oatmeal; pasta, rice, and peanut butter. Please not glass jars or expired items. Your donation will be distributed by CCFB through their network of over 120 food cupboards and social service agencies so they can serve those in our community.
