Lionville Lightning 12U Gold takes 2nd place at USSSA 2017 Fireworks Classic WSQ, 12U C Division

The Lionville Lightning 12U Gold took 2nd place in the 12U C division of USSSA 2017 Fireworks Classic WSQ played at Black Rock Park in Phoenixville, PA, on July 1-2, 2017.  After winning its first 2 games in Sunday's Championship play 8-4 and 9-2, the Lightning Gold advanced to the Final, which featured a match-up between the top 2 12U C teams in PA by USSSA power rankings.  The No. 2 ranked Lightning Gold lost 3-2 to the No. 1 ranked Towamencin Xplosion in a well-played Final.
